Welcome to Our Community

The Collektiv is a Newburgh, NY based 501(c)3 non-profit organization rooted in community building and connection. The origin of the The Collektiv dates to 2018, and in spring of 2023 we became an official non-profit to specialize in clothing production and distribution, music production and distribution, and book publishing and distribution.

Our goal is to support local artists, and those in need, any way we can. To date we’ve distributed hundreds of items of clothing, published three books, started a photo zine series, produced music and spoken word performances and fostered community throughout Newburgh and the Hudson Valley.

We are dedicated to our mission of building community through personal liberation and the freedom of expression. We’re new on the block, but we’re here to stay.
