The Collektiv is dedicated to producing and recording high quality audio content. We specialize in music, oral histories, and artistic audio expression of all kinds. With over 15 years of experience in the sound industry we have the skills and resources to tackle any style of audio production.
We’re currently focused on supporting under-served artists in Newburgh and the Hudson Valley while also capturing the stories and oral histories of the local population.

A-TENSiON! is a spoken word/musical performance by Newburgh based artist Ω-Resistance and the San Juan Sound Machine. Vocals by Katie Burke. 2023.
BBQ Jam is a musical production by Dolmar Pedro and the San Juan Sound Machine. It was performed and recorded live in Puerto Rico. 2023.
Flowers For Our Grandmothers audio super-cut is a compilation of sound bites from the oral histories recordings of the 12 grandmothers in Newburgh. 2024.
U-Knighted is an analog synth musical jam collaboration between the San Juan Sound Machine & the Jersey City Sweat Machine. 2024.
